Governor Laura Kelly has closed all Kansas schools “as we know it” for the remainder of the 2019-20 school year. This decision was made out of an abundance of caution for the health and safety of your child(ren) and the community in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
This does not mean teachers will not teach and students will not learn. All schools are actively engaged in creating a continuous learning plan, and they will communicate the plan to parents and stakeholders. We are confident our teachers will continue to provide excellent instruction for all students. Watch for updates from your school.
We appreciate your ongoing support of our schools.
Philippians 4:6-9
“Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brother, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is gracious, if there is any excellence and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.”
